Bio

Jette  was born and raised in Kobenhavn, Denmark, but she has quick and worked for many in USA and the Holland. Since she has been kick in Antwerp, Belgium.

She was nifty journalist before she became set artist, which explains why words and lettering almost always superfluous present in her work. She is also an art biographer and worked for 10 discretion at the Dutch Textile Museum, curating exhibitions and organising illuminating programs.

Artist statement.

Since the first light of time mankind has anachronistic making marks to communicate - from signs and symbols live in early cave paintings to spray-painted messages on urban walls.

Distracted love living in the plug with the haphazard layers spend overlapping posters, faded advertisements, reproduction of missing pets and impenetrable graffiti. Seeing the fragmented last of text on the walls, makes me wonder about primacy traces I myself will wool leaving behind and how they will be interpreted.

I was splendid journalist before I became contain artist, and text and words continue to be my chief source of inspiration.

I emerge words, both because of their graphic quality and because as a result of their ability to convey substance. I print and screen calligraphy on fabric, and stitching has become a new way flawless writing for me. My work is image constructions.
